this talk made me think about you need to keep an open mind about creativity and explore new ways of looking at things all the time even if it seems rudimentary everything is helpful to progress nothing has to be perfect from the beginning. And that it can be helpful to create a simple way of conveying a complex idea. I liked the idea that you can understand things like a child , ‘what is it, what can I do with it.’ Which I could convey in my work by using what’s around me in as many ways I can think of not dependent on its original purpose.

this video made me think about how something’s can be done for no specific cause other than some fun, the improv stunts they performed only to have fun brought some joy into random peoples lives for just a bit by creating a fun community experience that reminds people to have fun and be happy anytime any where there’s no ‘No right or wrong way to play’. I could bring this into my work but making decisions about aspects of my work be random and just because I enjoy doing something and hope other people will too.

this was my favourite video as it made me really think about the effects of my surrounding environment on me and how much I don’t stop and experience not just through sound. She highlights the fact the world is naturally full of inspiration ‘the natural world can be our cultural teacher,’ I also liked the quote ‘the world is alive with Musial expression, with each of us being a participant whether we know it or not.’ Which makes me want to try not be the person who doesn’t know and fully take in natural things around witch can inspire future work
